provide courses on the quality and safety of care for 3rd year students

– Accompagner les structures hospitalières dans la préparation de la mise en place des projets d'accréditation.
– Assurer des formations relatives à la qualité, management, gestion des risques, audit et amélioration continue, pratiques sécuritaires des soins…
– Assister les qualiticiens et les responsables des services dans l'initiation, la sensibilisation et la formation relatives à la mise en place d'une démarche qualité.

-Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and contractual provisions related to workplace safety.
-Participate in the development of the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) policy.
-Oversee the implementation of workplace safety programs.
-Identify hazards and assess occupational health and safety risks.
-Inspect workplaces to identify sources of danger and report them to prevent the occurrence of risks and ensure the use of preventive measures.
-Identify the causes of workplace accidents and make proposals to prevent them and ensure the safety of workers in the clinic.
-Train workers in the use of protective equipment.
-Conduct awareness and preventive education among workers.

-Propose quality improvement and patient safety policy directions to the management and the Steering Committee, aligned with the institution's strategic orientations and national guidelines.
-Define the quality improvement and patient safety program and oversee the implementation of action plans and their evaluation (internal quality audits, satisfaction surveys, etc.) while suggesting adjustments as necessary.
-Ensure preparation and monitoring of the Canadian accreditation process.
-Coordinate and support professionals in the implementation of action plans.
-Organize and lead workgroups.
-Manage the reporting, analysis, and handling system for adverse events, complaints, claims, and incidents within the institution, working closely with the Management.
-Design and implement quality management and risk management tools and methods (documentary system, indicators, dashboards, etc.).
-Develop and update quality indicator dashboards for the Management.
-Participate in fostering a culture of safety within the institution.
-Handle internal communication related to quality and risk management domains.
-Provide training to professionals on quality and risk management topics.
-Define and implement the communication plan for the quality policy and program.
-Identify, analyze, and address quality issues (non-conformities).
-Promote continuous improvement and ensure the satisfaction of stakeholders and the handling of patient complaints.
-Ensure clinic clients' satisfaction: study patient and physician satisfaction.

-Attend to hospitalized patients in the department.
-Inform patients about the procedure, if applicable, and/or the progress of childbirth.
-Assist gynecologists during medical procedures.
-Ensure the maintenance and proper care of medical equipment and facilities.
-Ensure continuity of care by documenting and verbally communicating observations.
-Welcome, inform, and guide visitors.
-Welcome and guide new staff members and/or interns.
-Contribute to the organization of tasks within the team.
-Ensure the comfort and safety of patients.
-Record and document performed services.
-Monitor the medical progress of pregnant women and oversee the proper course of pregnancy through prenatal medical examinations and fetal heart rate monitoring (RCF).
