Based at Inserm's head-office in Paris, I facilitated Inserm's medical research projects funded by the European Union and other international entities. This included both direct support to researchers and indirect support for projects managed by Inserm's regional offices (training seminars, cost elibility guides, structuring advice, budget review, financial reporting review, audit supervision, networking).

Led treasury, accounting, financing and internal control functions.
Managed the early stages of external discussions and documentation for an IPO (July 2021).

- Managed the business side of a Finance transformation project to implement a SaaS solution for the externalization, digitalization and automation of procure-to-pay processes.
- Led the coordination of finance disciplines for the preparation of the spin-off of the onshore / offshore segment into Technip Energies (first period 2019/2020).
- Directed a transversal global finance transformation project to design a foreign exchange risk strategy and related accounting policies and processes. Key to the group’s post-merger integration the project reported to the global VPs of Treasury, Accounting, IT and Finance Operations.

- Built and led the Treasury function of this mega industrial project (over US$20 bn): managing over 50 bank accounts, payments, excess cash, cash flow forecast, foreign exchange transactions with teams in Paris, Moscow and Shanghai.
- Evaluated and managed counterparty financial risks in purchase orders, subcontracts, and underlying contract bonds.
- Negotiated contractor documentation for selected export credit agencies financing tranches.

With regional responsibilities spanning three continents, led the finance management strategy in tenders and contract negotiations (coordinating treasury, insurance and tax teams):
- cash flow and financial exposure forecasts and sensitivity analyses
- counterpart credit risk rating and financial risk mitigation strategy (standby L/Cs, bank guarantees, insurance cover) and support to clients’ financing requirements (export credits, structured finance, project finance)
- documentation negotiation (clients, banks, subcontractors, insurance brokers, etc.)
- Finance lead to the Technip's Sustainable Development team (2011 - 2013)

Developed business model and led fund raising efforts for the creation of a B2B marketplace in the agro-business industry. Activities included the preparation and presentation to potential investors at venture capital fund raising events (Paris, Prague, Moscow).
