I am a Predoctoral Fellow at FAIR - Center for Empirical Labour Economics (CELE) supervised by Prof. Aline Bütikofer and Prof. Kjell Salvanes.

Several projects on paternalism and parenting styles among children, gender peer effects among kindergarteners, gendered effects of puberty among middle-schoolers on educational outcomes, elderly care access and mortality, etc. using rich matched survey- registry Norwegian data.

Main tasks include extensive data wrangling, visualisation and analysis.

My internship at IRD involves the following tasks:

1. High-frequency geospatial data + household surveys preprocessing using Python in QGis and R
2. Clustering using unsupervised ML techniques in Python to form a high-frequency dynamic panel
3. Extensive literature review on the political economy of conflict and labour in sub-Saharan Africa and advanced microeconometric analysis using STATA

My internship at IRD involved the following tasks:

1. High-frequency geospatial data + household surveys preprocessing using Python in QGis and R
2. Clustering using unsupervised ML techniques in Python to form a high-frequency dynamic panel
3. Advanced microeconometric (TWFE/staggered diff-in-diff regressions, subsample, heterogeneity, etc.) analysis of HHS data using STATA
4. Extensive literature review on the political economy of conflict and labour in Mali and Madagascar

My internship at MCRG was based on the acceptance of a research proposal. I submitted a 5000 word paper on 'Religion And Public Policy in India - Does Assam's NRC Threaten India's Secularity?'. It was a 2-month internship where I learned immensely about refugee and citizenship laws in India and the human rights situation in the country pertaining to migrants and displaced persons.

Paint It Red is a non-profit organisation that aims at providing women and girls from disadvantaged sections of society, access to quality products during menstruation. It also aims at breaking the stigma surrounding menstrual hygiene in India and normalising conversation related to it. PIR is based in Kolkata, West Bengal.

Coming to my work, I was one of the Program Coordinators for Paint It Red's first Flow Fellows Ambassador Program that was aimed at creating menstrual health awareness among students in various colleges across India.
