MISSION

- Team leader of PMO, reporting to CFO with delivering a portfolio of complex business efficiency projects via a team of project managers;

- Created a collaborative environment, leading and driving reports to deliver business critical objectives within budget, time and quality requirements;

- Operated with a large degree of autonomy, interacting with senior and board level stakeholders in order to help shape strategy, secure resource, and ensure Decathlon's goals are achieved;

KEY OUTPUTS

- Undertook project planning and analysis - including detailed budgeting, project plans, documenting scope and business requirements, and SoW production;

- Conducted extensive due diligence on any future business proposals in terms of risk, timing and outcome;

- Managed and monitored the programme of work; assigning responsibilities and ensuring that all projects are adequately resourced;

- Managed and monitored the budget to ensure that the programme of work, along with specific projects are delivered within agreed costings;

- Acted as a business partner with internal business units (e-commerce team, financial and technical departments) to understand and respond to their needs;

- Managed financial and admin processes and projects within the country’s e-commerce activity. Namely accomplished transformation into omni-chanel retail organisation, including reorganisation of logistic and financial flows, integration of new IT tools and procedures for operational teams;

- Ensured that project communication strategy is agreed upon, shared with and adhered to by all project stakeholders (internal and external);

- Mentored junior PMO resources and provide ad-hoc support, development activity and professional training programmes to assist them in the delivery of work;

- Managed the recruitment of PMO resources as required to administer the successful delivery of the project portfolio.
